Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
1. Acceptance Of These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Summit Current Electric Co. website and any electrical work performed by us at your property, arranged through our office at 2845 Wilderness Place, Suite 120, Boulder, CO. By requesting an estimate, booking a visit, or using this site you agree to be bound by them.
Template text — replace with terms reviewed by your own counsel before launch.
2. Estimates & Flat-Rate Pricing
Project estimates are provided free of charge and remain valid for 30 days. Diagnostic visits are billed as a flat-rate service call, disclosed before dispatch and credited toward the repair if the work is approved during that visit.
Approved work is performed at the flat price quoted. If the scope changes materially once concealed conditions are exposed, we stop work and provide a revised quote for your approval before continuing.
3. Scheduling, Cancellation & Emergency Calls
Scheduled visits may be rescheduled or cancelled at no charge up to 12 hours before the arrival window by calling (303) 555-0142 or emailing hello@summitcurrentelectric.com. Later cancellations and missed appointments may incur the service call fee.
Emergency and after-hours dispatch is available 24/7 and is billed at the emergency rate disclosed at the time of the call. Arrival windows are estimates and may be affected by weather, traffic, and preceding emergency calls.
4. Permits, Inspections & Warranty
Where a permit is required, we file it, schedule the inspection, and attend on your behalf. Permit and inspection fees charged by the municipality are passed through at cost and itemized on your quote.
Workmanship is warrantied for twelve months from completion. Installed equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, alteration by others, rodents, water intrusion, utility faults, or pre-existing wiring we were not engaged to replace. Summit Current Electric Co. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from an outage or equipment failure.
5. Site Access & Safety
You agree to provide safe access to the work area, the panel, and any relevant crawlspace or attic, and to disclose known hazards including asbestos, rodents, and prior unpermitted work. Our technicians may pause or decline work where conditions are unsafe.
6. SMS & Marketing Consent
By providing your phone number you consent to receive transactional and marketing messages from Summit Current Electric Co.. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
7. Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms and will post the revised version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our services or website after changes constitutes acceptance. Questions? Contact hello@summitcurrentelectric.com or (303) 555-0142.

1. Information We Collect
We collect information you give us directly: name, email address, phone number, service address, billing details, photographs or descriptions of the electrical issue you share with us, and any message you send through our forms.
We also collect limited technical data automatically — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URL — through analytics and standard server logs.
2. How We Use Your Information
To schedule and perform your electrical work, dispatch a technician to the right address, process payments, file permits, respond to inquiries, send service updates, and — where you have consented — send marketing about seasonal offers and safety reminders.
3. Sharing & Third Parties
We never sell your personal data. We share it only where required to do the job or run the business: municipal permitting offices, payment processors, scheduling and dispatch software, email and SMS providers, and analytics tools. Each is bound to use it only on our behalf.
4. Cookies & Analytics
This site uses cookies and analytics tools to understand traffic and improve the experience. You can block cookies in your browser settings and enable a do-not-track signal; core booking functionality may be limited if you do.
5. Data Retention & Security
We retain job records, permits, and invoices for as long as needed to honor warranties and to meet legal, tax, and licensing obligations. We use industry-standard safeguards, though no method of transmission or storage is fully secure.
6. Your Rights
To request a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete it, contact Summit Current Electric Co. at hello@summitcurrentelectric.com or (303) 555-0142. We respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state or national privacy law.
7. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Our services are arranged by property owners, tenants, and managers who are adults.
